Canada’s Toughest Archery Challenge 2018

30th Canadian Open Horse Archery Championship

Organized by Borsos Torzs HAC & CFMA

Training camp: May 19-24, 2018

Training starts when you arrive and ends when you leave.

We will train at night for intuitive archery and riding.

We will be conducting archery, riding (bareback) and horseback archery exams, HBA range safety officer and HBA judge training and exams.

May 25th, 2018

9 AM Safety meeting for the competitors, finishing all the paperwork, determining the order of the riders/horses.

6-9 PM We are visiting Scandinave Spa in Whistler to rejuvenate our body and soul. Please do not forget: rest is a workout! For dinner we will have sushi at Kaze Sushi in Westin Hotel, Whistler.

To finish off the training week we will have a bonfire in Mount Currie.

Saturday May 26th, 2018

8 AM Safety meeting

8:30 AM Kassai Open World Cup


Afternoon: traditional foot archery:

Targets at 20-30-40-50 meters left and right hand shooting

Flying disk and long distance shooting at 70-130-170 meters

DINNER followed by bonfire

Sunday May 27th, 2018

8 AM Safety meeting

8:30 AM Korean style double shoot from quiver


Afternoon: Mount Currie X country

Expect stationary and rotating targets, targets above, left and right sides

Closing ceremony
